Infants Under 2 Years Old Fly Free on Sun Country Airlines
Infants younger than 2 years old (minimum 8 days old) may fly for no additional charge on a parent's/adult's lap on Sun Country Airlines. You will be asked to show proof of age, such as in the form of a birth certificate, when checking-in for your flight. Children 2 years of age or older may no longer fly on a parent's lap and will need to have their own assigned seat, meaning they must have a regular ticket purchased at the full adult fare.
Even when flying free of charge on your lap, your baby must be added to your reservation by calling Sun Country Airlines reservations to adding them to your reservation via the self-service portal on the Sun Country Airlines website.

If you prefer that your baby fly in their own seat using their FAA-approved car seat (this is the safest and FAA's recommended way for a baby to fly), you must purchase a seat for your child at the regular adult fare.
