Transavia.com is a Dutch low-cost airline flying mainly to holiday destinations throughout Europe.
You may bring a regular carry-on suitcase (55 x 35 x 25 cm) into the cabin free of charge, along with a smaller personal item. Your carry-on suitcase may be placed into the luggage hold (free of charge) if you do not have priority boarding, as there may not be sufficient space in the overhead bins.
Transavia Basic fares do not include any free checked luggage allowance, which you will have to purchase separately (cheaper to do so online). The Plus fares include a 20 kg, allowance, and Max fares include a 30 kg allowance.
|Carry-On Allowance||8 / 10|
|Checked Bag Allowance||5 / 10|

Transavia allows you to bring 1 regular piece of carry-on luggage along with a small accessory item (personal item), as long as the total weight of both items is less than 10 kg / 22 lbs.
Carry-On Luggage Maximum Size: 55 x 35 x 25 cm
Accessory Item Maximum Size: 40 x 30 x 20 cm
There is a limit of a maximum of 70 pieces of carry-on luggage allowed into the cabin per flight. If boarding later, your carry-on suitcase may have to be placed into the luggage hold of the plane when boarding your flight, which Transavia will do free of charge.
To ensure that your carry-on luggage makes it into the cabin, you have the option to purchase priority boarding for about 7 EUR, which will guarantee that you will have space in the overhead bins to place your carry-on luggage.
The smaller accessory item will always make it into the cabin, as it gets placed beneath the seat in front of you, and not into the overhead bins.
