When flying on Wizz Air, you can select for your fare class to update to a larger carry-on baggage allowance.
The Wizz Air Basic fare includes only a small carry-on bag of 40 x 30 x 20 cm, which must be placed under the seat in front of you. If you would like to bring a larger carry-on trolley bag, this is included in the Wizz Go and Wizz Plus fare bundles. These will allow you to bring a larger "standard" carry-on of 55 x 40 x 23 cm, in addition to the smaller 40 x 30 x 20 cm item.
Another option to add a carry-on trolley bag is to purchase "Wizz Priority", which includes priority boarding and a 55 x 40 x 23 cm carry-on item (max 10 kg). Priority will cost between €6.00 – €42.00 if you buy online or through the Wizz Air Call Centre, or €30.00 if you buy the service at the airport (price has gone up for 2023).
If you bring a larger carry-on bag without having purchased Wizz Priority, you may be charged an oversize carry-on fee of 30 EUR at the gate. If your carry-on bag exceeds the 55 x 40 x 23 cm dimensions, it will be placed into the hold of the aircraft and you will be charged a fee of 60 EUR.
You can also take the following items on board free of charge:
a coat or blanket
mobile phone
reading material for the flight
for children younger than two: food for the duration of the flight and a foldable baby stroller or a small crib
a pair of crutches for physically disabled passengers

If you would like to check your suitcase with Wizz Air, you will have to purchase a checked baggage allowance. This is available to purchase online at the time of booking, on the flight summary page, or during the online check-in process up to 3 hours before departure. You can also purchase a checked baggage allowance at the airport, it will be much more expensive at the airport, so it is recommended to purchase online.
When buying a baggage allowance on Wizz Air, you can select to purchase an allowance of either 10kg (only available online), 20kg, 26kg (new for 2023) or 32kg. The fee varies based on low/high season, flight route, where/when you pay for the bag, and weight of the bag.
10kg bag - 5-59 EUR online low season (6-71.50 EUR high season), only available online or via call centre
20kg bag - 8-79 EUR online low season (9-95 EUR high season), or 55 EUR at Airport
26kg bag - 12-90 EUR online low season (13-107 EUR high season), or 90 EUR at Airport
