Baggage in excess means baggage which exceeds the maximum baggage allowance, whether in weight or articles.

If the baggage allowance is exceeded, excess baggage charges will be paid to SOL Líneas Aéreas upon issuance of an additional ticket.

Note: SOL Lineas Aereas will accept baggage in accordance with the normal checked baggage allowance limits. Therefore, excess baggage will be subject to the load capacities of the aircraft. However, excess baggage will be accepted for transportation whenever possible.

If baggage in excess cannot be loaded onto the passenger´s aircraft, the passenger’s prior written consent shall be obtained to carry the baggage to destination on the next aircraft with loading availability or thru another airline.

Domestic Flights: In accordance with published fares, charges will apply to any piece of baggage with a weight exceeding baggage allowance. Charge for overweight baggage is ARS 5 per excess kilogram (2.20 lb).

International Flights: In accordance with published fares, charges will apply to any piece of baggage with a weight exceeding baggage allowance. Charge for overweight baggage is ARS 5 per excess kilogram (2.20 lb).
