Under Seat Stowage
Maximum one piece of carry-on is allowed, limited in size to 23cm x 41cm x 57cm (9” x 16” x 22.5”). It should weigh no more than 10 kg / 22 lbs.
Overhead Bin Stowage
One of the following items per passenger may be stowed in the overhead bins:

One (1) briefcase not exceeding 11 cm (4.5”) in thickness
One (1) laptop not exceeding 11 cm (4.5”) in thickness
One (1) purse not exceeding 11cm (4.5”) in thickness
No single piece should exceed 10 kg (22Ibs)
Additionally, the following personal items may be carried in the cabin, space permitting:
An overcoat
An umbrella or walking stick
A reasonable amount of reading material for use in-flight
An approved infant restraint device
Infant food for consumption in flight
A small camera or pair of binoculars
A prosthetic device
Canadian North may require that proposed carry-on baggage be checked as checked baggage due to space limitations in the cabin of the aircraft.

Canadian North free baggage allowance depends on the fare type you are flying, as well as whether you are connecting from a different airline such as Westjet, Air Canada, or First Air. The below information is valid for flights that are only on Canadian North, or the first flight of a multi-leg journey is operated by Canadian North (Airline Designator Code 5T on your ticket).

Customers exceeding the free allowance (too many pieces, too heavy, etc) will be assessed an applicable excess baggage fee.

In the case of an item being both overweight and oversize, only the oversize fee will be charged.
Passengers checking any oversize items should be encouraged to arrive at the airport no later than 60 minutes prior to flight departure to allow enough time for the item to be screened before proceeding through security.
