Bearskin Airlines Baggage Fees 2019
Carry On Size & Weight - Checked Bag Fee

Our ability to permit carry-on baggage is restricted due to the size of the aircraft cabin, no overhead storage bins and limited space under the seat.

Your safety and comfort will be assured by adherence to this policy. We will permit a maximum of 1 piece carry-on to a maximum weight of 13 lbs. Eligible pieces include soft sided briefcase & laptop computers. Flight crew may request that you remove laptop computer from carrying case if deemed to be too large.

Items permitted as carry-on but not considered part of the allowance include personal cameras, coats, purses (10" x 12" x 8" or less), urns, canes, containers carrying life sustaining items and other similar items.

One wheelchair, baby stroller, bassinet, walker or car seat will be accepted free of charge and will not be considered part of the 'free checked baggage allowance.' Items deemed by airport agent to be too large for carry-on may be permitted as carry-out.

A maximum of 2 pieces will be permitted as Carry-on & Carry-out combined.

Bearskin Airlines will allow each customer a 'free checked baggage allowance' to be carried in the baggage compartment of the aircraft at no charge. This 'free checked baggage' must not exceed 47 lbs. If you exceed this limit, you will have to pay an additional amount at the airport prior to travel.

Individual pieces of checked baggage weighing more than 70 lbs. will not be accepted as checked baggage. Maximum aggregate weight of all bags accepted will be 100 lbs. Bags over these limits can be shipped as cargo and are subject to space availability.

Flying with Bearskin Airlines and Air Canada
Special rules apply when flying on an itinerary operated by both Bearskin Airlines and Air Canada.

If the first flight segment on your ticket is operated by Air Canada (AC) the Air Canada checked baggage guidelines, allowances and fees will apply for that flight and all other flights in your itinerary. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with the AC baggage policies, allowances and fees. This includes Air Canada Rouge, as well as Air Canada Express flights operated by Jazz, Sky Regional, Air Georgian and Exploits Valley Air.

If the first flight on your ticket is operated by Bearskin Airlines, the Bearskin Airlines checked baggage guidelines, allowances and fees will apply for that flight and all other flights on your ticket.
