Greyhound Canada is the biggest bus network in Canada, with over 1000 locations. One suitcase is allowed to be placed under the bus free of charge, and a 2nd piece of luggage will cost you $15 + tax, to be paid at the bus terminal.

For passengers traveling on Greyhound Canada schedules, one (1) small carry-on bag, up to 25 pounds, plus one personal item (purse, handbag, etc) can be taken aboard for each adult or child. Carry one bags must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.
Be sure to note that buses have much smaller overhead compartments and there is less space under the seats than on an airplane, so you may be more restricted in terms of size of carry-on items.

Greyhound Canada allows 1 piece of baggage per customer (adult or child) free of charge, to be placed under the bus. A second piece may be brought for a fee of $15.00, for adults only.
Baggage must not exceed 158 centimeters (62 inches) when adding the total exterior dimensions of the (length + height + width). Any Bags exceeding the 158 cm. (62 inch) limit will be assessed oversized baggage charges.
The "no charge" allowance for baggage is restricted to 23 kilograms (50 pounds) per bag. Baggage exceeding fifty (50) pounds per bag will be subject to overweight baggage charges. Baggage over 32 kilograms (70 pounds) per bag will not be accepted.
The only exception to the oversized surcharge is skis and ski poles, assuming they are packed in an appropriate canvas or hardcover container. Bicycles can be accepted as baggage only if they are in a cardboard box designed for bicycles and are subject to the maximum oversized baggage charge ($30 per bike), regardless of the distance traveled.

Overweight Baggage
The "no charge" allowance for baggage is restricted to baggage weighing fifty (50) pounds or less. The customer, through Greyhound Courier Express, will ship baggage over 70 pounds per bag. Baggage between 50 and 75 pounds are subject to the charges.
Charges will be applied for each overweight bag as follows (GST extra):
Zone A and B (0-200 miles from origin to destination) - $20 + tax
Zone C and D (201-800 miles from origin to destination) - $25 + tax
Zone E (801+ miles from origin to destination) - $30 +tax

The "no charge" allowance for baggage is restricted to baggage that does not exceed 158 centimeters (62 inches) when adding the total exterior dimensions of the (length + height + width). Any Bags exceeding the 158 cm. (62 inch) limit will be assessed the charges as outlined below.
