Any luggage you take with you in the cabin and hand luggage is stored in the luggage compartment above your seat.
As a passenger in the car to carry a hand luggage must not exceed the following dimensions: 55x40x20 cm (length x width x height). We recommend that if you fly an aircraft from ATR, luggage does not exceed dimensions: 35x 30 x 20cm (length
x width x height).
The total weight of hand baggage must not exceed 10 kg .
These regulations apply only on flights operated by TAROM with their aircraft. For flights operated in code-share partners TAROM is possible to apply other rules imposed by the flight operator.

If the connection route TAROM ticket participate with other carriers, will apply the rules and charges in excess of the first route operator (TAROM) sector / sectors

One standard checked piece of baggage has a weight of maximum 23 kg and 158 cm (height width length).
The checked free baggage allowance, depending on the class of travel:

The free checked baggage allowance for infant cannot be combined with the free checked baggage allowance for adult. The excess of the free checked baggage allowance given for the infant will result in application of Excess baggage charges.
The number of accepted pieces is limited depending on the aircraft type operating the flight:
ATR42/ATR72 - maximum 3 pieces / passenger
B737/Airbus - maximum 10 pieces / passenger
Items not permitted:
Explosives and incendiary substances and devices (i.e. ammunition, blasting caps, detonators, replica or imitation explosive devices, smoke generating cartridges and canisters, gunpowder and plastic explosives etc.)

The carriage of baggage exceeding the free allowance is subject to charges depending on the distance on which your baggage is through checked:
Excess baggage charges (EUR):

Zone 1: Within Romania;
Zone 2: Within Europe and between Romania and Middle East
Zone 3: Worldwide, except Zone 1 and Zone 2
Conditions of Application:
Standard Piece Weight / Fractions: when determining the standard piece weight, the fractions within 23 and 24 kg shall be disregarded; a piece of 24kg will be considered an overweight piece;
Combining the Weight of Pieces: The weight of checked pieces of baggage cannot be combined; each piece is considered as such and charged in accordance with the above table;
Combining the Number of Pieces: Where two or more passengers, traveling as one family or as one party to a common destination and departing on the same flight, present themselves for traveling at the same time and place, they shall be permitted a total free baggage allowance equal to the combination of their individual free baggage allowances.
Baggage in excess of the checked free baggage allowance as written in the ticket(s) will be charged per kg in excess as follows:
Zone 1 (Domestic routes Romania): 2 EUR/kg
Zone 2 (Between Romania and Europa): Between 3 and 12 EUR/kg
Zone 3 (Between Romania and The Middle East): Between 12 and 16 EUR/kg
The special charges under zones 2 and 3 shall apply at the same level in case of routes with domestic sectors in Romania (Ex.: Iasi - Bucharest - Paris = Bucharest - Paris).
Disabilities
Service animals for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) are free of charge if traveling with PRM. Wheelchair is free of charge if traveling with PRM.

Animals are not included in the allowance.
Animals not exceeding 5 kg (including kennel) transported in the cabin are charged according to following rates:
Zone 1 (Domestic routes Romania): 25 EUR
Zone 2 (Between Romania and Europa): 50 EUR
Zone 3 (Between Romania and the Middle East): 100 EUR
Animals not exceeding 75 kg (including kennel) are transported in the hold are charged according to following rates:
Zone 1 (Domestic routes Romania): 50 EUR
Zone 2 (Between Romania and Europa): 100 EUR
Zone 3 (Between Romania and the Middle East): 200 EUR
