Calm Air Baggage Fees 2019
Carry On Size & Weight - Checked Bag Fee

For the comfort and safety of all passengers, our agents must enforce the number, size and weight of all carry-on baggage on Calm Air flights. Oversized and excessive amounts of carry-on baggage can cause flight delays, so please confirm your allowance before your trip.

Each fare-paying passenger on Calm Air is permitted two (2) pieces of carry-on baggage.
Combined weight of these 2 pieces is not to exceed 20lbs.

Dimensions (LxWxH) of the larger carry-on item are not to exceed 10 in x 16 in x 12 in or (25cm x 40cm x 30cm). The second item is limited in size to 10 x 12 x 8 inches, and must fit under the seat in front of you.

Examples of acceptable carry-on items may include: carry-on bags and smaller suitcases (include wheels and handles in size measurement), briefcases, laptop computers, diaper bags, camera bags and other similar items. Space permitting, additional items may be permitted in the cabin such as:

A reasonable amount of reading material for in-flight use.

An approved infant or child restraint device, an infant’s food for in-flight consumption.

A cane, an urn, containers carrying life-sustaining items or other similar items.

Calm Air offers a generous free baggage allowance for all passengers. The maximum weight allowed depends on the flight code, as follows:

Passengers on Calm Air Flights 100 to 199 are allowed a maximum of 2 pieces free of charge, with a maximum total combined weight of 70 lbs (32 kg). This includes Valet items. No individual piece may weigh more than 23 kg / 50 lbs.

On Calm Air flights 200 to 399, the allowance is more generous, offering 3 pieces per customer with a total combined weight not to exceed 54 kg (120 lbs). Again, the maximum weight for a single item is not to exceed 23 kg / 50 lbs.
