Finnair Baggage Fees 2023
Carry On Size & Weight - Checked Bag Fee

Finnair passengers flying in Economy Class are entitled to one piece of carry-on baggage plus one personal item such as a small handbag, purse, laptop, or small backpack. This applies to all Economy flights, including Economy Lite, Economy Classic, and Economy Flex

Maximum dimensions of the carry-on bag are limited to 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm, and maximum dimensions of the personal item must not exceed 40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm. The total weight of both items should not exceed 8kg (17.5 lbs).

Passengers travelling in Business Class; Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold or Silver members; or Finnair Club members: a total of two pieces 56 x 45 x 25 cm with a maximum combined weight of 10 kg (22 lb), and one personal item such as a briefcase or laptop computer (40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm).

Children with a reserved seat are allowed the same amount of carry-on baggage as an adult flying in the same travel class.

Infants under two years of age without a reserved seat do not have their own carry-on baggage allowance – the carry-on baggage of infants is considered part of their parent or guardian's allowance.

Your Finnair checked baggage allowance is printed on your flight ticket or travel document. It is dependent on your flight route.

Finnair Baggage for Children and Infants
Children with a booked seat are allowed the same baggage allowance as an adult. Infants (0-2 years old) are entitled to 1 piece of free checked baggage up to 23 kg in all classes except Economy Light, Premium Economy Light, and Business Light.

EXTRA ALLOWANCE FOR FINNAIR PLUS AND ONEWORLD MEMBERS
Finnair Plus Platinum Lumo, Platinum and Gold members and oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members can take one additional bag on oneworld marketed flights operated by Finnair.

Finnair Plus Silver members can take one additional bag (max. 23 kg)on Finnair flights (flights operated by Finnair or Norra, ticket with an AY code).

In addition, Finnair Plus Gold, Platinum and Platinum Lumo members can take a set of golf, ski or diving equipment on flights operated and marketed by Finnair.
