Carry On Size & Weight - Checked Bag Fee

Flybe's cheapest flight-only rate, Flybe Lite, automatically includes one small cabin bag up to 55 cm x 36 cm x 20 cm and up to 7 kg in weight. This should be something that can fit beneath the seat in front of you, like a handbag, tote bag, laptop bag, briefcase, or backpack.

If you bring a larger cabin bag that exceeds these dimensions, it will be gate-checked for a fee, and you will have to pick it up at the baggage claim at your final destination.

With Flybe you have the option to purchase a larger "Valet Bag", with a maximum size of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm and which weigh up to 12kgs. This larger cabin bag will be brought with you through security, and will be gate-checked when boarding the plane (placed into the hold of the aircraft). You will collect your valet bag plane-side when you arrive at your destination, so you can skip the baggage claim when leaving the airport.

The cost to add a "Valet Bag" on Flybe is 20 GBP / €24, with a maximum weight of 12 kg. A "Valet Bag" can be added to any Flybe Fare type.

If you have purchased the "Flybe Plus" fare, you can swap out your free 23 kg Hold Luggage allowance to instead use Flybe's "Valet Bag" service. Please note that the Flybe Plus fare includes only 1 of the 2 services, so you can choose either the hold luggage or the Valet Bag service, the Flybe Plus fare does not include both services.

The lowest-cost Flybe Lite fare does not include any free hold luggage allowance. You will have the option to add a Bundle to your flight which can include either a 15 kg or 23 kg hold luggage allowance.

The cost to add a piece of hold luggage to your Flybe booking is as follow:
£15 / €18 for a 15kg hold bag
£20 / €24 for a 23kg hold bag

You may purchase up to 2 hold bags up to a maximum combined weight of 46 kg.

The Flybe Smart fare includes 1 free checked bag, with a maximum weight of 15 kg. The Flybe Plus fare includes either a free 23 kg / 50 lbs hold bag, or the use of the "Valet Bag" service (maximum weight 12 kg).
