If you choose the cheapest "JustFly" fare option, you will be charged for your first checked bag up to 70 EUR, so if planning on flying with Air Berlin, be sure to select the best fare class for your baggage needs when booking your flight, otherwise you may have some unpleasant surprises at the Air Berlin check-in counter.
Please also note that the "JustFly" option does not allow for checking in of sports equipment, so keep that in mind if planning on bringing a bike, golf clubs, or surfboard on your Air Berlin flight. Sports equipment must be pre-registered with the airline before the flight.

On each flight, you can take one item of hand baggage into the cabin, which may weigh up to 8 kg. The dimensions may not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm. Please check the size of your hand baggage in the racks provided at check-in.
