Infants do not receive a hand baggage allowance. Infant milk or baby food are able to be carried within the parent/guardians hand baggage allowance. This would need to be separated from the hand baggage going through the security control. Milk/boiled water would need to be in a clear infant bottle and may need to be tasted.
If you have reserved a seat for your infant, you will need to bring your car seat on board.
The car/child seat must be able to fit between the armrests of the aircraft seat and your child and the child seat need to be secured according to the seat manufacturer’s instructions.
Children travelling in their own (booked) seat may bring the same amount of hand baggage as an adult and hold luggage can be booked for them.

This means if customers arrive at the boarding gate with more then one item of hand baggage (excluding airport shopping and any of the above mentioned additional items) the extra item/s will be taken and put into the hold. If you’d like to bring extra luggage on your holiday above your free baggage allowance, you can pre-book up to 5 extra bags per flight, maximum weight of 30kg each bag. If not buying online, you will have to pay for it at the airport, at the higher airport rates, and it may be turned away depending on the capacity of the flight.
The best way to increase your allowance is before you fly – you can buy your additional baggage allowance online and avoid higher charges at the airport. Head over to Manage your Booking on the Thomas Cook website if you'd like to buy additional baggage.
