You are allowed one item of carry-on baggage onboard the aircraft no bigger than, including the handle, side pockets and wheels: weight 8 kg, length 55 cm, height 35 cm, width 20 cm.

Air One will check the hand luggage and will proceed for boarding the luggage in the hold at the departure gate in case of size and number of pieces exceed the limits permitted by the fare rules.

This rule is also applicable to Smart and Value fares.

Even in these cases the hand luggage that exceeds the limits set by the franchise will be sent in the hold as additional baggage. In consequence it will be payed as second baggage purchased at the airport.

Hand Baggage Allowance
Passengers can carry on in the cabin one bag plus one personal item such as briefcase or a laptop or a woman bag (max 1 item).

Pushchairs (strollers AE) are considered additional items not allowed in the cabin: they are registered, tagged, and loaded in the cargo hold but they can be left and recovered alongside.

As checked baggage is stowed in the cargo hold, it must be properly and securely packed. At airport check-in counters, each item of baggage is weighted and tagged with its owner’s name, itinerary, airport codes, flight number and date. The baggage identification tag thus becomes your baggage ID card and, stuck to the passenger’s ticket, allows your baggage to be identified upon arrival or its traced if missing.

An item of baggage can only be checked by the passenger upon presentation of flight ticket. Cardboard boxes can be accepted as checked baggage provided that they bear the passenger’s name, are wrapped in plastic film (at airports where this service is provided for) and in full respect of maximum dimensions permitted: length = cm 70, height = cm 80, width = cm 100.

Air One liability for lost or damaged checked baggage will not apply in case of fragile, valuable or perishable items. You can benefit from a higher liability limit by making a value declaration.

You are entitled to a free baggage allowance provided your baggage size and weight fall within established baggage allowance limits.

If your baggage exceeds the free checked baggage allowance, you will need to pay excess baggage charge, which also applies to special baggage with value declaration or bulky items (max. overall dimensions up to: length = cm 42, height = cm 70, width = cm 40).
The weight allowance per each item of checked baggage per passenger is kg 32 (see baggage allowance limits above). Boxes, bags, bulks objects exceeding the above weight allowance will have to be sent as cargo. Maxium baggage allowance 50Kg per passenger.
