China Eastern Airlines Carry On 2016 - Cabin Bag Size & Weight Limit

Your hand baggage may not exceed 5 Kg, and the dimension should be smaller than 55×40×20 cm for each one, including your briefcase and traveling bag. If you hold a first-class ticket, you are allowed to take two pieces of luggage. If you hold a business class or an economy class ticket, you are only allowed to carry one piece of hand luggage.

China Eastern Free Checked Baggage on North America Routes
Economy Class: 2 pieces - max 23kg/50lbs each
Business Class: 2 pieces - max 32kg/70lbs each
First Class: 2 pieces - max 32kg/70lbs each

Infants
Any infant who buys a passenger ticket without seat can carry one baggage, with weight equal to that for a company adult and dimension (sum of three sides) not over 115cm, and also one folded portable baby carriage or baby stroller for free.

“Eastern Miles” Gold and Silver Card Members
An “Eastern Miles” gold card member can carry one additional baggage with weight not over 32KG for free; and a silver card member can carry one additional baggage with weight not over 23KG for free.

SkyTeam Alliance super-elite and elite card member
A SkyTeam Alliance super-elite member can carry one additional baggage with weight not over 23KG for free; and a SkyTeam Alliance elite member can carry one additional baggage with weight not over 23KG for free.

China Eastern Airlines Overweight Baggage Fee 2016 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage

The excess baggage means that portion by which the Checked Baggage and Unchecked Baggage exceed the Free Baggage Allowance. Passengers shall pay for excess baggage.

China Eastern Airlines Excess Baggage Fees on North America Routes
Oversized baggage:
CNY1,000/piece for a baggage >158CM and ≤203CM
CNY2,700/piece for a baggage >203CM

Baggage with excessive weight:
CNY1,000/piece for a baggage >23KG and ≤32KG
CNY2,700/piece for a baggage >32KG and ≤45KG
Note: Flights to/from Vancouver, the weight of baggage should not exceed 32KG/piece; for other North American routes, the maximum allowable weight is 45KG/piece.

Excess baggage:
Extra Piece CNY1,000/piece

Excess Baggage fees are cumulative, so multiple fees will be charged if a bag is both oversized and overweight.
