Conviasa Carry On 2018 - Cabin Bag Size & Weight Limit

CONVIASA allows passengers one piece of hand luggage not exceeding eight kilos allowed and whose dimensions allow it to place it in the cabin baggage compartments or hat and its dimensions do not exceed: 37 Cms. High + 25 Cms. Width + 61 Cms. High. = 1.23 Mtr. linear.

The articles, as determined by CONVIASA, are considered excessive weight and size, may not be accepted in the cabin.

Very fragile objects, not suitable for carriage in the cargo compartment, such as medical equipment and the like can be accepted for carriage in the cabin, only if you have previously advised the airline and whether it has obtained the consent of the same. The transport of such objects in the passenger cabin, will generate additional charges. If its dimensions preclude its transport in the cabin, they must be transported, properly packed, as air cargo.

The hand luggage allowed to be placed in the compartment located at the top of the seat (hat) or may be placed under it without causing inconvenience to passengers or obstruct the passage may be:
Executive briefcase.
A pilot briefcase.
Briefcase for women (NECESSER).
Handbags in general.
Camera and smoking.
Radios and cell transistors.
Cases of drinks to carry by hand.
A coat or travel coat.
Crutches or other prosthetic assistant or necessary, provided that the passenger is dependent on its use to get around.

Keep in mind that traffic to both our staff as our crew have the authority to request that your hand luggage to be off the plane unless they meet the above specifications. We also suggest, when selecting your cabin baggage, consider the other passengers who also required space to place their belongings on the plane.

Conviasa Checked Baggage Fees 2018 - Checked Bag Weight & Size Limits

International Flights
Flights to/from Panama: 2 bags of 25kg each
Flights to/from Havana and Bogota: 1 bag of 23kg/50lbs

Domestic Flights:
ECONOMIC CLASS and CLASS EXECUTIVE will be allowed one suitcase. This should not exceed 23 kilograms.

The airline is not responsible for any loss or damage to any piece of luggage, which has not been delivered to CONVIASA and which have not given a receipt (ticket stub).

In no event shall the carrier be liable for loss or damage of luggage to be carried as hand effects, unless those cases clearly occur from causes attributable to the Company.

Conviasa Overweight Baggage Fee 2018 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage

Domestic Excess Baggage Fees: The excess baggage charges are calculated based on 1% of the cost of the highest base fare one way (OW) on the route, plus VAT.

International Excess Baggage Fees: The excess baggage charges are calculated based on 2% of the cost of the highest economic base fare one way (OW) on the route, plus VAT.
