Singapore Airlines offers a free checked baggage allowance for all passengers. The baggage allowance is either a Piece Concept (a defined number of bags, with a weight limit per bag) or a Weight Concept (a total combined weight of all baggage, allowing for multiple pieces to be checked in). Wheter a Piece Concept or Weight Concept baggage allowance applies to your flight depends on the origin and destination of your flight.
Weight Concept - All Flights except to/from Canada and USA
All Singapore Airlines flights, except those flying to/from Canada and USA, have a Weight Concept baggage allowance. This means you are entitled to a maximum total weight of your baggage. You may pack into multiple suitcases if you wish, as long as the total COMBINED weight of all your bags does not exceed the weight limit. In either case, for health and safety reasons, be aware that no single individual bag may weigh more than 32 kg / 70 lbs, even if your total weight allowance is more than this.
