Hibiscus Class

For security reasons, some sharp items, which present a cutting edge, are not permitted in the passenger cabin and must be checked.
In any case, dimensions allowance must not exceed: 56x45x25cm
Child Restraint Device (Car Seats)
Child restraint devices (car seats) showing a car approval label are allowed onboard Aircalin aircrafts, provided they can be placed on seats and fastened with seatbelts.
Passengers bear responsibility for placing the child restraint device onboard, according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer (facing forwards or backwards).
The width of the bottom of the seat must not exceed 41cm.
A seat which does not comply with these regulations can be denied access onboard at check-in or boarding.
Bookings and fees for infants with a child restraint device are the same as applied to children (over 2 years old).
Only small collapsible strollers are permitted in the passenger cabin.

On the Aircalin network, your checked baggage is carried without charge within the following weight limitations:
30 kg for Hibiscus Class (Business class) passengers
20 kg for Economy Class passengers
10 kg for babies (children under 2 years of age)
On flights between France and Noumea, in continuation with Air France or KLM, the weight limits are:
3 baggage of 23 kg each per passenger travelling in Hibiscus class (Business Class)
2 baggage of 23 kg each per passenger travelling in Economy class
10 kg for Babies (children under 2 years of age)

The weight allowance per piece of baggage is 32 kilos, its combined dimensions (length+width+height) must not exceed 300 cm.

If you exceed these baggage allowances, you will have to pay for extra weight at the check-in counter. Beyond a certain number of extra kilos, it is advisable to carry your luggage as freight.
Sporting Equipment
On flights operated by Aircalin, an extra allowance of 10 kilos is available for the following sporting equipment in addition to your normal baggage allowance (maximum 30 kilos per person in Economy Class and 40 kilos in Hibiscus class):
Scuba diving breathing equipment
Golf equipment (a pair of shoes and a bag)
Surf, Kitesurf, and Windsurf boards
Bikes
Hunting equipment
Fishing equipment (2 fishing rods, 1 reel, 1 landing net)
Camping equipment (backpack, sleeping bag)
Water skiing/ Snow equipment (1 pair of boots, 1 pair of skis and sticks)
Special care will have to be given to the packaging of these equipments and the addition of the three dimensions must be less than 3 meters.
On the Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul routes, for passengers continuing their journey with Air France or KLM :
In addition to your checked baggage allowance, you are allowed to check in a golf bag weighing up to 23 kilos for free.
Any other sports equipment (comprising surf, kitesurf, windsurf, snow boards and water skis measuring less than 200cm) is included in your baggage allowance. A fixed rate will apply for any extra sports/special baggage, weighing up to 23 kilos each.
Electric wheelchairs
Electric wheelchairs for disabled people contain an accumulator battery with corrosive and therefore dangerous electrolyte.
They are placed in checked baggage only. Carriage of electrical wheelchairs on flights operated by Aircalin is free of charge.
