Polynesian Airlines Carry On 2011 - Cabin Bag Size & Weight Limit

For adult passengers over 12 years - 1 piece NOT to exceed a maximum weight of 5 kilograms

For children and infant passengers under 12 years - 1 piece NOT to exceed a maximum weight of 3 kilograms.

Important Note
Due to space limitations and for safety reasons, we do not accept the carriage of packages containing any food items onboard our Twin Otter aircraft.

Polynesian Airlines Checked Baggage Fees 2011 - Checked Bag Weight & Size Limits




For adult passengers over 12 years - Up to a maximum of 2 pieces NOT to exceed a maximum combined total weight of 20 kilograms (approximately 44lbs).

For children passengers 2 to 11 years inclusive - Up to a maximum of 2 pieces NOT to exceed a maximum combined total weight of 10 kilograms (approximately 22lbs).

Infant passengers under 2 years are not entitled to free check-in baggage allowance except when checking in a bassinet or stroller.

Important Note
We reserve the right to refuse carriage of any perishable food item that is not properly packed and sealed in appropriate packagings to prevent spillage and leakage on the aircraft.

We only accept seafood for carriage on our aircraft if the seafood items are properly packed in chilly bins or coolers and sealed with a plastic bag to prevent spillage and leakage on the aircraft.

Note that American Samoa quarantine regulations prohibit the carriage of local meat (cooked or raw) from Samoa into the US territory including any manufactured goods such as corned beef or sausages produced in Samoa.

Polynesian Airlines Overweight Baggage Fee 2011 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage

We charge the following excess baggage fees for any baggage accepted at check in that exceeds the maximum free baggage allowances allocated:

From Fagalii or Faleolo to Pago Pago WST5.00 per kilogram

From Pago Pago to Fagalii or Faleolo USD3.00 per kilogram

Important Note
Accepting paid excess baggage does not guarantee that your excess baggage will travel on your flight for safety reasons. Any excess baggage accepted at check in is placed on standby and carriage will be subject to space and weight availability at the time of flight departure.

Special Services
We offer the following special services subject to payment of a nominal fee as listed below:

Unaccompanied Minors under 12 years - WST50.00 from Fagalii or Faleolo to Pago Pago and USD50.00 from Pago Pago to Fagalii or Faleolo.

Wheelchairs - WST50.00 for use and boarding out of Fagalii Airport or Faleolo International Airport and USD50.00 for use and boarding out of Pago Pago.

Surfboard Surcharge - WST120.00 from Fagalii Airport or Faleolo International Airport to Pago Pago and USD50.00 from Pago Pago to Fagalii Airport or Faleolo International.

Bassinets and Strollers
Due to space limitation on our Twin Otter aircraft, bassinets and strollers cannot be carried onboard. These items must be checked-in and carried in the aircraft hold and will form part of an infant's checked baggage allowance.
