Germania Baggage Fees 2018
Carry On Size & Weight - Checked Bag Fee

Only one piece of hand luggage per person is permitted in the cabin in due consideration of your safety as well as your comfort. The hand luggage must weigh no more than 6kg and must not exceed the maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm.

Premium Economy on flights from/to Iran
Maximum weight: 8 kg

Please note, if you have excess carry-on luggage you will be charged a 50 EUR fee at the boarding gate, and it will be transported in the cargo hold.

In addition to your hand baggage you may also take one of the following items without additional charge:

A laptop bag
A small ladies’ handbag
Baby food for meals during the flight
One pair of crutches, if you are dependent on these

General free baggage allowance for Germania Flights
Adults and children (from the age of 2): max. 20 kg total
Small children (under the age of 2): max. 10 kg total
Limit two pieces of luggage per passenger

Free baggage allowance for Germania flights to/from Zonguldak*
Adults and children (from the age of 2): flights to Zonguldak max. 30 kg / flights from Zonguldak max. 20 kg total
Small children (under the age of 2): max. 10 kg incl. buggy

Free baggage allowance for Germania flights to/from Lebanon, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Turkey (only Adana, Ankara and Kayseri)
Adults and children (from the age of 2): max. 25 kg total
Small children (under the age of 2): max. 5 kg

Premium Economy on all Germania flights from/to Iran
Adults and children (from the age of 2): max. 35 kg total
Limit two pieces of luggage per passenger

30 kg free baggage allowance for longer stays
Germania allows you to bring up to 30kg free if you are staying at your destination for longer than 28 days. You must present proof of your later return ticket at the check-in counter. This is not available on the following flight routes.
