UM Airlines Baggage Fees 2011
Carry On Size & Weight - Checked Bag Fee

Passengers with economy-class tickets can take hand bag in amount:
1 piece of hand bag in the size: 55x40x20 cm / 22x16x8 inches, weight to 5 kg.

Passengers with business-class tickets can take hand bag in amount:
1 piece of hand bag in the size: 55x40x20 cm / 22x16x8 inches, weight to 10 kg.

Following things can be carried for free:
1 ladies purse;
Press for reading in flight;
1 umbrella or stick;
1 unit of overcoat;
1 small camera or binoculars;
1 portable PC;
Baby nutrition;
1 pair of crutches;
1 baby cot;
1 baby carriage (at request it can be delivered to aircraft than is loaded to baggage compartment, is carried as checked baggage);
1 wheelchair (at request it can be delivered to aircraft than is loaded to baggage compartment, is carried as checked baggage).

These things as checked baggage (except for baby cot, baby carriage and wheelchair) are not subject to free carriage if the total weight of checked baggage exceeds norm of free checked baggage

Carriage in the cabin
With prior agreement with the airline following cabin baggage may be transported by a passenger:
Which requires special precautions during transport (brittle, fragile items and breakable items and perishable items, TV, radio, video, sample equipment, musical instruments, electronic and optical devices, etc.).
Things that passenger considers not suitable for carriage in the cargo compartment of the aircraft.

Transportation of these things are paid by the passenger according to the rules of the airline. Weight of one custom piece of luggage carried in the cabin of the aircraft should not exceed 80 kg and its dimensions should allow you to place your luggage on a separate (individual) passenger seat. When packing luggage that is transported in the cabin of the aircraft, must ensure its proper mounting on the passenger seat (seats) and comply with standards.

Delivery of the aircraft to the baggage that is carried in the cabin of the aircraft, loading, placement in the cabin, unloading and transportation within the airport terminals is carried out under the responsibility of the passenger and his previous order and payment of these services in the corresponding airport.

The maximum weight of checked baggage, except flights which are performed to/from Canada/USA, USA territories:

Business-class passengers: 30 kg (80 lb.)
Economy-class passengers: 20 kg (44 lb.)
Infants (children younger 2 years) to which have no separate seat in aircraft - one item of baggage with weight not more than 10 kg (22 lb.) plus 1 baby carriage or 1 baby cot which can be allocated in cabin.

Other norms of checked baggage defined by appropriate documents and the rates accepted in UMAir can be applied to separate categories of passengers (sailors, emigrants, etc.). In such cases the norm of free baggage is pointed out in the appropriate column of the air ticket during its purchase.

During transatlantic flights fulfilled to/from Canada/USA, territories of the USA, following norms of free checked baggage are applied:
Passengers of business-class: two items of baggage - the maximum size of each item on the total of measurements (length width height) does not exceed 158 cm. (62 inches); the maximum weight of one item - 32 kg. (70 lb.).

Passengers of economy-class:
One item in weight up to 23 kg, which on the total of measurements (length width height) does not exceed 158 cm.

Infants (children age till 2 years) without separate seat - one item of baggage not exceeding weight of 10 kg (22 lb.) and on the total of measurements (length width height) not exceeding 115cm. (45 inches), plus 1 baby carriage or 1 cot which can be allocated in cabin.

Invalids can take for free one wheelchair on one person (regardless of type, weight and the size) and/or other necessary auxiliary equipment which he physically depends on.
