Sunwing Baggage Allowance for Infant Flying on Lap
Infants less than 2 years of age without their own purchased seat (flying on a parent's or guardian's lap) are not entitled to checked baggage allowance to bring their own suitcase, nor to a carry-on allowance. Parents are allowed ONE courtesy item such as a stroller, car seat, or playpen to be brought as part of their luggage allowance, and may bring one diaper bag into the cabin in addition to their own regular carry-on allowance.
Please remember that an infant flying on a lap without a purchased seat will NOT have their own seat, and will NOT be able to fly in a car seat. If you prefer that your infant fly in a government-approved car seat, you MUST purchase an individual seat for your infant. All children 2 years of age or older MUST have their own seat, and cannot fly on a parent's lap.

Sunwing Baggage Allowance for Infant with Purchased Seat
If you have purchased a seat for your infant, you will be allowed to bring a government approved car seat into the cabin free of charge for your baby to use during the flight (your infant must remain in the car seat for take-off, landing, and when the seatbelt sign is turned on). You may also bring an additional piece of baby equipment such as a stroller or playpen as checked luggage, free of charge. Other carry-on and checked luggage allowances are the same as for an adult passenger flying in the same fare class.
Child Baggage Allowance on Sunwing Flights
Young children 2 years of age or older flying on Sunwing flights must have their own purchased seat in order to fly. They will not be allowed to fly on a parent's lap. All regular carry-on and checked baggage allowances apply, including any applicable baggage fees. You may bring 2 complimentary pieces of child equipment free of charge, including a government-approved car seat that can be used in flight (must meet government safety and labeling requirements) and either a stroller or playpen that must be checked-in.
