Bringing a Steamer on Sunwing Airlines
Your dress is likely to be a little bit wrinkled after traveling in the overhead compartment - it is recommended to bring a hand-held travel steamer with you to get out the wrinles once you arrive at your destination.
You can bring a garment steamer on Sunwing Airlines either in your carry-on bag, as long as there is no liquid inside so you can bring it through security, or in your checked luggage.
Flying with a Bridesmaid Dress on Sunwing Airlines
Travelling as a bridesmaid, it is best to bring your bridesmaid dress with you as your carry-on item. Don't place your dress into your regular suitcase, just in case it gets misplaced and doesn't arrive in time for the wedding. You can bring your bridesmaid dress as a carry-on item on Sunwing Airlines by packing it into a travel-ready garment bag, and either folding/rolling it gently and placing it into the overhead locker, or waiting until all of the suitcases have been placed into the overhead bin, and laying your dress flat on top of the carry bags.
Wedding Photographer Carry-On Allowance on Sunwing Airlines
Your wedding photographer will receive an extra 10kg carry-on allowance to bring their photography equipment on-board the aircraft to shoot your wedding. Please confirm with Sunwing directly ahead of time to reserve their extra cabin bag allowance for your photographer.
