Hawaiian Airlines Infant and Child Baggage Allowance
Lap Infant (Less than 2 Years Old) Baggage Allowance on Hawaiian Airlines
Children younger than 2 years old flying on a parent's or adult's lap are entitled to any free checked baggage allowance or carry-on allowance. The only exception is that you may bring your child's car seat and stroller free of charge.
You may bring your child's stroller either by dropping it off at the check-in desk together with your regular suitcases, or bringing it to the boarding gate and gate-checking your child's stroller when boarding the plane. The same applies to your child's safety seat, either dropping it off together with your suitcase, or bringing it with you to the gate and dropping it off when boarding the airplane.

We recommend bringing your infant's car seat with you to the gate, even when your child is flying on your lap, as you may be allowed to bring it into the cabin and use it if there is an empty seat available on the flight. Please keep in mind that your child's car seat must meet the governments safety standard and meet the FAA's labeling requirements for safe use in airplanes.
Child Baggage Allowance on Hawaiian Airlines
Children flying in their own assigned seat on their own ticket, whether less than 2 years old or over 2 years old, are applied the same baggage rules as standard adult passengers, for both carry-on and checked baggage. In addition, your child may check-in a car seat and stroller free of charge, or you may choose to bring your child's car seat into the cabin for them to use during the flight, as long as it meets government labeling requirements for use in aircraft.
Child wagons may be checked in on Hawaiian Airlines flights, but they will count as standard checked luggage and may incur the applicable checked baggage fees. Wagons are not accepted as carry-on luggage. Wagons used to transport children will NOT count as strollers, and cannot be substituted for a stroller.
