Southwest Airlines US Military Baggage Allowance
Southwest Airlines already offers a generous 2 Free Checked Bags baggage allowance for all customers. For Active Duty US Military personnel, and those flying on Permanent Change of Station orders, the 2 bag limit does not apply, and you may check-in additional bags free of charge.
When flying as US Military Personnel on Southwest, you are exempt from oversize/overweight fees, as long as each bag does not exceed 100 lbs (45 kg) and stays within the size limit of 80 linear inches (length + width + height).
