Contour Airlines Firearms Policy 2023: Flying with Guns, Firearms, and Ammo Guide
Contour Airlines will accept firearms only as Checked Baggage. Passengers must be 18 years of age or older to transport a firearm.
You must contact Contour Airlines in advance to notify the airline that you will be flying with a firearm.

Packing your Firearm on Contour Airlines
Rifles and Shotguns must be packed in a hard-sided locked case that cannot be pried open on its ends. This may require multiple locking points, all of which must be locked.
Handguns must be packed in a hard-sided locked case that cannot be pried open.
Fully automatic weapons will not be accepted for transportation on Contour Airlines.
Small arms ammunition is limited to a maximum of 11 lbs / 5 kg per passenger, and must be packed in its original packaging container, or in a similar box specifically designed for securely transporting small amounts of ammunition.
Ammunition must be packed separately from the firearm.
