TAP Portugal Carry On 2023 - Cabin Bag Size & Weight Limit

TAP Portugal allows one piece of carry-on baggage, up to 10 kg / 22 lbs, plus one small personal item, for all Economy Class passengers.

The maximum size allowed is of 115 cm / 45 inches: 55 x 40 x 20 cm (22 x 16 x 8 inches).

The personal item is a smaller item that can be taken on board the aircraft, with a maximum weight of 2 kg / 4.4 lbs. This item may be something like:
- Handbag, purse, computer case or shoulder bag measuring no more than: 40 x 30 x 15cm / 16 x 12 x 5in.
- Mobility / Walking aids
- Medical devices
- Duty-Free Shopping Bag (up to 2 bottles of alcoholic beverage or other items)

Exceeding the TAP Portugal Hand Luggage Allowance
If you bring too much hand luggage to the boarding gate, it will be checked into the luggage hold, and you will be charged a fee at the gate. You will not be allowed to board the aircraft with too much hand luggage, or if exceeding the size/weight allowances.
