IMPORTANT: Every item of standard checked ('hold') baggage will incur a fee.

Hold luggage is the baggage you check-in to be carried in the aircraft's hold. This usually includes larger items such as suitcases or rucksacks, but the term also applies to sports equipment and musical instruments. [AMZ asins='B00LB7REFK,B082K8ZNQ1,B07ZWLQF9T,B00NW62PCA']

Each individual item of hold luggage should not exceed total dimensions of 275cm (length + width + height), except for sporting and medical equipment.

You may pre-purchase a hold luggage allowance of either 15 kg or 23 kg suitcases, and increase that allowance up to 32 kg in in increments of 3 kg. The cost of luggage depends on the origin and destination of your flight. The applicable online fee for your specific flight will be displayed at the time of adding the luggage to your reservation (whether during or after booking your flight). Alternatively, you may pay for your luggage at the airport, it will be much more expensive (48 GBP per suitcase) than paying in advance.

15 Kg Hold Luggage (only available online) - from £6.99 - £35.49
23 Kg Hold Luggage (online) - from £9.49 - £42.49
23 Kg Hold Luggage (at airport) - £48 at bag drop desk
23 Kg Hold Luggage (at airport) - £48 at boarding gate
Additional weight (pre-booked) up to a maximum of 32 kg - £15 per 3kg
Additional weight (at airport) - £12 per Kg

No single piece of hold baggage can weigh more than 32 kg, due to health and safety restrictions.

Sharing Luggage Allowance with Family
If you are travelling in a group of two or more you may spread the weight of your luggage across the bags. For example, two passengers with a bag each may carry 20 kg of luggage each, but if you wish to put 18 kg in one bag and 22 kg in the other, then that's okay. You've just got to remember that you cannot exceed the 40 kg total weight allowance without paying additional charges.

Infants on EasyJet
Infants who share your seat do not have a baggage allowance so all their stuff will have to go into your bag!
