When flying with Swoop, the airline recommends that you give them at least 48 hours notice in order for them to accommodate your needs, and that you arrive at least two hours before your scheduled departure time on the day of your travel. Be prepared to answer questions from the reservations agent about your wheelchair regarding the battery (if applicable), the dimensions of your wheelchair, and whether or not it has removable parts. Swoop recommends that you bring your owners manual with you to the airport, as well as providing any instructions on how to safely prepare any modifications for transport.
Your wheelchair must fit through the cargo door in order to be accepted for transport. In order to accomplish loading and unloading, your wheelchair or other mobility device may need to be turned on its side in order to fit through the cargo door. If this is not possible, Swoop will not be able to transport your wheelchair. Folding wheelchairs will be transported in a protective bag in a dedicated space in the cargo hold.

You use your wheelchair mostly for distance, but can walk up and down stairs. You do not need assistance from your wheelchair to your seat, or from your seat to the lavatory when inflight.
You use your wheelchair for distance and cannot walk up and down stairs. You do not need assistance from your wheelchair to your seat, or from your seat to the lavatory when inflight.
You cannot go up and down stairs and you require assistance with transferring from your wheelchair to your seat in the cabin, as well as to and from the lavatory while inflight.
Other mobility aids such as canes, crutches, walkers, or braces are accepted as carry-on baggage free of charge on Swoop flights, provided they are within carry-on baggage size limits. If you don’t require these items during your flight, you may choose to have them transported as checked baggage, however in this case, checked bag fees will apply.
