The checked baggage fee applies to musical instruments where the combined length, width and height of the instrument (including the case) is less than 203cm (80”).

An overweight fee of $99 may be charged for items that weigh more than 23 kg / 50 lbs, up to a maximum weight of 45 kg (100 lbs).
The oversize fee is waived for checked-in musical instruments, up to a maximum size of 203 cm linear dimensions (80 inches), meaning the sum of Length + Width + Height).
