Finnair Overweight Baggage Fee 2023 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage

If you would like to bring more baggage than what is included in your fare, or if you are flying on an Economy Light, Premium Economy Light, or Business Light fare and would like to add a checked bag, it is best to do so online ahead of time. You can add baggage to your reservation online for a cheaper price than paying for your checked bags at the airport. The earlier the better, as prices go up within 6 days of departure, and then even higher at the airport.

Finnair Overweight Baggage Fees 2023
Suitcases weighing more than 23 kg / 50 lbs will be charged an Overweight / Heavy Bag fee. This fee depends on the origin/destination of your flight:
Flights to/from Asia, North America and the Middle East - €80/$90
Flights within Finland and Europe - €60

Finnair Oversize Baggage Fees 2023
Suitcases larger than the standard 158 cm linear dimensions (L + W + H) will be charged an Oversize Baggage fee, as follows:
Flights to/from Asia, North America and the Middle East - €80/$90
Flights within Finland and Europe - €60

Bags on Finnair that are both Overweight and Oversize will incur both charges.
