Exceeding Your Hand Luggage / Cabin Bag Allowance on British Airways
If any of your hand baggage is over the size or weight limit, or you have more hand baggage than your allowance, it will need to be checked in and will count towards your checked baggage allowance. If the additional baggage then takes you over your checked baggage allowance, or if you are travelling on a hand baggage only fare, you will be charged for extra baggage at the airport rate.

Oversize / Extra Large Luggage on British Airways
If your checked luggage exceeds the maximum dimensions of 90 x 75 x 43 cm are accepted on British Airways, but you will have to check them in separately at the "out-of-gauge" bag-drop area. You do not need to notify British Airways that you will travelling with larger luggage, simply show up at the airport earlier to ensure the bags get on the plane.

British Airways Overweight Baggage Fee / British Airways Heavy Luggage
Economy class passengers (Euro Traveller, World Traveller, World Traveller Plus) are limited to a maximum weight of 23 kg / 50 lbs per bag. If any of your bags exceeds this weight limit, up to a maximum of 32 kg / 70 lbs, you will be charged a Heavy Luggage / Overweight Baggage fee of 65 GBP / 75 EUR / 100 USD / 100 CAD.
