British Airways Checked Baggage Fees 2023 - Checked Bag Weight & Size Limits

British Airways has a pretty complex checked luggage fee structure, as it offers a variety of cabins and multiple fare types within each cabin, so be sure to double-check how much luggage you may bring with you and the applicable fees for your route.

Within both Euro Traveller and World Traveller, you may purchase either a Basic fare (Hand-Luggage only, pay for checked bags), Plus fare (includes checked bags and some flexibility), or Plus Flex (extra flexibility). The luggage allowances for each fare class depend on the origin and destination of your flights.

British Airways also offers the World Traveller Plus cabin (Premium Economy) on long-haul flights, their Business class offering known as Club Europe and Club World, and First Class. All of these premium cabins include some free checked luggage allowance.

All standard checked luggage may measure up to a maximum of 90 x 75 x 43 cm, before incurring oversize baggage fees.
