Pieces checked by TACA weighing 101 pounds or more (46 kilograms) or with the sum of their external dimensions (height + length + width) greater than 230 centimeters (90,5 inches) will not be accepted as checked baggage, in which case you should contact our Cargo department.

To and from U.S.A., Canada and Mexico:
Flights from North America (United States, Mexico and Canada) to South America or the Caribbean (and vice versa).
Within Latin America
Flights from North America (United States, Mexico and Canada) to Central America (or vice versa). Flights between Latin American countries
Flights from Orlando or Chicago to San Salvador

During the end-of-year high season, only the free baggage allowance of passengers will be transported.We hereby inform you that we will not accept either baggage subject to space or standby baggage on the following routes and dates:
From Chicago to San Salvador: from December 7-28, 2013
From Orlando to San Salvador: from December 11-27, 2013
Note:
For flights from Brazil to the United States, Mexico, Spain and from the United States, Mexico and Spain to Brazil: when there are additional pieces, excess baggage, oversize or overweight baggage, the relevant policies for North America, Mexico and Europe apply.
For all regions: pieces weighing 101 pounds or more (46 kilos) or whose external dimensions (height + length + width) are greater than 230 centimeters (90,5 inches) will not be accepted as checked baggage. To transport pieces not accepted as baggage, you should contact our cargo department.
