Star Peru Carry On 2018 - Cabin Bag Size & Weight Limit

Star Peru Passengers can carry 1 piece of hand luggage, provided that it does not exceed 4kg in weight and is no more than 40cm x 35cm x 20cm (Length x Width x Height).

Crutches, orthopedic elements, foldable wheelchair, and help animals (guide dogs) in case the passenger has diminished capacities.

All hand luggage should fit in the overhead compartment of the cabin or under the front seat in accordance to aviation regulations. Hand luggage that is too large or so irregular in shape that it does not fit in the overhead compartment or under the front seat will not be permitted and will be registered and sent to the cargo area.

Occasionally there may be some additional restrictions on hand luggage, depending on the capacity of the overhead compartments in the passengers’ cabin. These restrictions may apply even after boarding has started. Therefore, our staff may require that some hand luggage be placed in the cargo compartment. If this is the case, passengers will be given a voucher with which they will be able to claim their belongings upon arrival at their final destination.

These items must be carried by passengers in their hand luggage under their sole responsibility (providing that the items don’t exceed the weight and size limits permitted), or they should be sent by a cargo company. The airline’s liability is limited if these items have not been previously declared and registered.

Under current legislation, restrictions to these items apply only to international flights. Restrictions to the transport of these items do not apply to domestic flights.

Items not allowed as hand luggage

The following items cannot be carried as part of hand luggage: knives, razorblades, box cutters, foldable or retractable knives, icepicks, scissors, sharp items or other similar objects.
