Surfboards are accepted on Surinam Airways flights after payment of a special baggage fee.

Regional Flights Surfboard Fee: $50 USD / 50 EUR

Flights to/from United States of America (U.S.A) Surfboard Fee: $100 USD

Flights between Paramaribo and Amsterdam Surfboard Fee: $185 USD / 185 EUR

Surfboard limits: max. 23 kg.(50 lbs) - 115 linear inches

Important: The carriage of special baggage must always be arranged in advance and timely prior to the day of departure.

Surfboard equipment is defined as one surfboard required to be in a surfboard case. All surfboard equipment must not exceed 115 linear inches and is subject to the applicable excess baggage charge.
