Flights between China and Africa/Middle East (via Dubai, Luanda, Khartoum),
Flights between China and Japan/Korea (to/via Busan/Okinawa),
Flights between China and Thailand (to/via Bangkok/Phuket),
Flights between China and Vietnam (to/via Hanoi),
Flights between China and Singapore,
Flights between China and Almaty,
Flights between China and India (to/via Bambay/Kolkata)
Flights between China and Indonesia (to/via Jakarta),
Flights between China and Male.

On the above mentioned flights operated by Hainan Airlines, the overweight-baggage charge is 1.5% per kg of the highest one-way published Hainan Airlines fare in Economy Class according to the traveling direction.

For Passengers with connecting flights including segments operated by Hainan Airlines and with Hainan Airlines as major carrier of the entire itinerary, the overweight-baggage charge is 1.5% per kg of the highest one-way published Hainan Airlines fare in Economy Class according to the traveling direction, or 1.5% per kg of the highest one-way published IATA fare in Economy Class according to the traveling direction in case of no carrier fare.

The overweight charges can be paid in CNY, USD or local currency of departing country/region, calculated according to the prevailing exchange rate on the departure date.
