Silver Airways Firearms Policy 2023: Flying with Guns, Firearms, and Ammo Guide

Firearms are accepted in Checked Baggage only on Silver Airways.

All firearms must be Unloaded and packed in a locked crushproof hard-sided container.  [AMZ asins='B07B7ZB484,B09FS5JJM3,B094WBMGRM,B0001HCBOU']

If placing your locked handgun container in your baggage, it must be placed in a hard-sided suitcase that is locked with a key or combination lock.

You must be at least 18 years of age or older to transport a firearm on Silver Airways.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will have to declare your firearm to a Silver Airways representative and sign a Firearms Declaration tag that will have to placed in your firearm case. Your firearm will be inspected by a TSA agent, and then will be accepted to be placed into the belly of the aircraft. 

Baggage containing firearms will only be accepted on Domestic flights within the USA, and not on any international Silver Airways flights.
