Austrian Airlines has recently introduced a new class for flights within Europe called Economy Light, with no free checked baggage allowance.

The definition „European routes“ in this context includes following area and countries:
Europe, North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia), Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Turkey and Cyprus

Economy Class : 1 x 23 kg/50lbs
Premium Economy: 2 x 23kg/50lbs
Business Class: 2 x 32 kg/70lbs
