Air Jamaica Overweight Baggage Fee 2018 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage

Overweight fees are charged depending on origin/destination of flights. Articles of baggage in excess of 50 lbs will only be accepted for transportation subject to the availability of space. Baggage exceeding 70 lbs/32kg and/or over 62 inches in total dimensions (L W H) must be shipped via cargo.

Excess Baggage Charges

Embargo periods Excess Baggage:
Baggage in excess of the free allowance, boxes and heavy bags will NOT be accepted on ALL JM routes during the period December 10 - January 8 each year.

NO MORE THAN THREE (3) ARTICLES OF BAGGAGE PER PERSON IN EXCESS OF THE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE WILL BE ACCEPTED UPON PAYMENT OF THE EXCESS CHARGES SPECIFIED. EXCESS BAGGAGE WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FOR TRANSPORTATION SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF SPACE.
