Air India Economy Class Baggage Allowance - Domestic: 25 Kg
Air India Business Class Baggage Allowance - Domestic: 35 Kg
Air India First Class Baggage Allowance - Domestic: 40 Kg
Infants - All Classes - Domestic: 10 Kg
Alliance Air Baggage Allowance* - Domestic: 15 Kg (10 Kg to/from Shimla / Kullu)

No single bag may weigh more than 32 kg / 70 lbs, no matter what class you are flying in.

Please note, on flights to/from Newark EWR (Newark Liberty International Airport), only a single piece of 23 kg/50 lbs is allowed on these flights for Economy Passengers.

Infants in all classes - 10 Kgs. (22 lbs)
Musical instruments will be permitted as part of checked-in baggage only. Such musical instruments may be pooled in the Free Baggage Allowance but if in excess of the Free Baggage allowance, it will be charged as per the applicable excess baggage charges.
