Bicycles are accepted on-board Spirit Airlines flights after paying the applicable fee of $75 USD each way.
Bicycles are included as part of the customerís standard baggage allowance and will be accepted for a special charge per direction (charged at the airport on the day of departure). Oversize limits and charges are waived for bicycles. Overweight charges are waived for bicycles.
Bicycle equipment may consist of (1) non-motorized touring or racing bicycle with a single seat. Bicycles should be prepared for transportation by the customer. Bicycle must be placed in a cardboard or hard cased bike container. Bicycle tires must be deflated. Bicycles not enclosed will NOT be accepted.
* Spirit reserves the right to refuse transportation of these items due to safety and/or operational limitations.
