The hand bag must be able to be fitted into the cabinís overhead lockers and lifted unaided. Larger hand bags than those specified in the table above, should be carried as extra checked baggage items.
All passengers are allowed up to 2 free checked bags. Weight limits are assigned for the total COMBINED weight of both bags together.

Passengers traveling with Cyprus Airways operated flights are allowed the following baggage and weights:
Students holding a valid student ID card and travelling as Gold Card Members will be entitled to the respective allowance of the Gold Card Members category only.
For transit passengers ticketed on two or more flights operated by Cyprus Airways and traveling in economy class, the checked baggage allowance will be 30 kilos carried in two pieces.

People with limited mobility (wheelchairs) can take 1 wheelchair free of charge in addition to the free checked baggage allowance (per person with reduced mobility).Wheelchairs will be carried irrespective of weight. However if the wheelchair weighs over 32kgs please notify the airline at the time of making your booking. For battery operated wheelchairs, the weight and dimensions as well as the type and number of batteries must be declared at the time of reservation.
Seamen passengers are allowed up to 40 kgs free of charge.
Military passengers are allowed up to 30 kgs provided that a military card is presented.
For onward connections on flights operated by Cyprus Airways, i.e. BEY-LCA-PAR, if travelling in more than one cabin i.e. one sector in business and the next sector in economy class, the more generous allowance will be given for the whole journey (i.e. the business allowance).
The following items can also be carried, free of charge:
A lady handbag or purse;
An umbrella or walking stick;
A personal camera;
An infantís carrycot;
A fully collapsible invalidís wheelchair or a pair of crutches/braces;

On short-haul routes (Greece, Balkans, Middle East), overweight baggage will be charged on a per kilogram basis, at a rate of 1.5% IATA fare per kilo. Depending on the destination, this is usually between 2-5 EUR per kilogram.
If flying on a long-haul flight, you will be charged at a rate of 7 EUR per kilogram for overweight baggage.+ Show Full Policy
Each kilo of baggage weight additional to the free weight allowance specified in the free baggage allowance table shall be charged as follows
(a) Zone A: 1.5% of the official IATA fare per kilo*
(b) Zone B: 7 Euros per kilo.
Zone A: All Cyprus Airways routes to Greece, Balkan countries and Middle East.
* For the Domestic Routes in Greece (i.e. Heraklion-Rhodes) the charge is 2 Euros per kilo.
(indicatively, a sector LCA-ATH will be charged around EUR 6 per kilo)
Zone B: The rest Cyprus Airways Destinations.
For transit passengers ticketed on two or more flights operated by Cyprus Airways, EUR 7 per kilo will apply.
