Checked Baggage Summary

The basic "JustFly" fares do not have any free checked baggage allowance, and you will be charged 15 EUR for the first checked bag. FlyClassic passengers are allowed one free bag, while FlyFlex passengers have 2 free bags included. All of these bags are limited to 23kg/50lbs each.

Air Berlin Oversize/Overweight Baggage Fees 2014 ↑ Back to Top

Excess/Oversize/Overweight Summary

Additional 23kg bags are typically charged 50 EUR per bag, or 100 EUR on long-haul flights.

If a bag weighs more than the 23kg/50lbs limit, you'll be charged about 100 EUR, so in most cases, it makes sense to pack into 2 separate bags.

If you're planning on flying with any sports equipment, you must book a FlyClassic or FyFlex seat, as you may not be allowed to purchase a sports equipment allowance with a JustFly ticket. You'll have to register your sports equipment before arriving at the airport, otherwise it will not be accepted.
