Air Vanuatu Checked Baggage Fees 2011 - Checked Bag Weight & Size Limits

Children travelling in business or economy class are entitled to the same baggage allowance as above. Infants are entitled to 10kg for checked-in luggage.

If travelling with friends or relatives you can all pool your baggage allowance together and will all need to check-in together at the airport.

NB. Vanuatu follows the Australian and New Zealand rules, please apply these rules.

Ensure that your baggage is clearly labelled with your name both inside and outside your baggage.

**To qualify, domestic and international flights must be reserved as a single transaction. Separate bookings will not permit the increased allowance on domestic ATR72 operated domestic flights** Call Air Vanuatu for your multi sector booking.

All Flights
In addition to the baggage referred to the above, the following items may be carried free of charge:
Infants food for consumption in flight and infant's carry basket*
A fully collapsible wheel chair* and/or a pair of crutches and/or walking stick and/or other prosthetic device for you if you are dependent on them

Infants carry baskets, wheelchairs may be used to board the aircraft, then will be stowed in the aircraft hold.

Air Vanuatu Overweight Baggage Fee 2011 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage

Excess baggage charges will apply when a traveller's checked-in baggage exceeds the free allowance set by Air Vanuatu. Remember if you are travelling with friends or as a group you can pool your baggage allowance, however you must check-in at the same time.

If your checked-in baggage exceeds you baggage allowance you will be charged for excess baggage at the following rate:
Vanuatu - VT 700 /per kilo
Brisbane - AUD10.00 / per kilo
Melbourne - AUD10.00 / per kilo
Sydney - AUD10.00 / per kilo
New Zealand - NZD13.00 / per kilo
New Caledonia - XPF10.00 / per kilo

Children and Infants On Board
If you are travelling with young children or infants our cabin crew will be more than happy to assist you during your flight.

Due to space limitation we are not able to provide on board bassinette.

Strollers are not permitted in the cabin of the Aircraft and must be checked in - Infant luggage allowance is 10kgs.

Wheelchair Assistance
If wheelchair assistance is required please advise your Air Vanuatu Sales Consultant or your Travel Agent to request your wheel chair prior to departure. Passengers may not take their own wheels chair or aids into the aircraft cabin. Air Vanuatu will provide assistance to passengers with mobility limitations, where required, including transferring passengers to and from their mobility device and the aircraft seat.

Security Information
All knives, sharp objects or cutting implements of any kind and any length, whether of metal or other material, knitting needles, and sporting goods, must be packed in your checked luggage.
