PLAY Airlines Carry On 2023 - Cabin Bag Size & Weight Limit

PLAY Airlines allows only one small carry-on item free of charge. This small item must fit under the seat in front of you, with maximum dimensions of 42 x 32 x 25 cm / 17 x 13 x 10 inches (including handles and wheels). Weight is limited to 10 kg / 22 lbs.

Direct Flights to/from Europe: 40-50 EUR during booking (47-59 EUR added after booking, 60-90 EUR at the airport)
Direct Flights to/from USA: $67 USD during booking ($90 USD at the airport, $120 USD at the gate)
Direct Flights to/from Canada: $90 CAD during booking ($120 CAD at the airport, $160 CAD at the gate)
Connecting Flights (Canada-Europe via Iceland): $90 CAD / 66 EUR during booking ($140 CAD / 80 EUR at the airport, $170 CAD / 100 EUR at the gate)
Connecting Flights (USA-Europe via Iceland): $66 USD / 66 EUR during booking ($100 USD / 80 EUR at the airport, $130 USD / 100 EUR at the gate)

When adding a standard-size carry-on allowance to your booking, this will also include priority boarding on your PLAY Airlines flight.

PLAY Airlines Checked Baggage Fees 2023 - Checked Bag Weight & Size Limits

There are no free checked bags included on PLAY Airlines - every checked bag will cost you extra.

You may purchase up to 3 checked bags when flying with PLAY Airlines while making your booking. You may also add checked bags to your booking afterward, but it will be more expensive. You can also pay for your checked luggage at the airport, which will cost you significantly more than paying in advance.

PLAY Airlines allows you to purchase a checked baggage allowance in 3 different weights: 20 kg / 44 lbs, 23 kg / 50 lbs, or 32 kg / 70 lbs. Be mindful of how much you will pack when adding your checked luggage allowance, because if your suitcase is heavier than your purchased allowance, you will be charged a fee of $50 USD per KG of extra weight.

PLAY Airlines Overweight Baggage Fee 2023 - Extra Bag Fee - Oversize Baggage

PLAY Airlines Overweight Luggage Fee
Play Airlines charges a "per KG" fee for overweight luggage. When adding a checked luggage allowance to your booking, be sure to select the correct weight allowance (20 kg / 44 lbs, 23 kg / 50 lbs, or 32 kg / 70 lbs) so that you do not exceed it and get charged the extra weight fee. If exceeding your purchased weight allowance, an overweight luggage fee of $50 USD / 36 EUR / $70 CAD per KG will be charged, to be paid at the airport.

PLAY Airlines Odd-Size / Oversize Luggage Fee
If you'll be flying with an odd-shaped or oversized piece of luggage, you can pre-purchase an "Odd Sized Bag" allowance instead of a standard checked bag allowance. Weight options are either 20 kg / 44 lbs or 32 kg / 70 lbs, with prices being the same as for a standard-sized checked luggage.
