Checked Baggage Summary

There is NO FREE BAGGAGE with Air Asia. You must pay for every bag to be checked.

The price to purchase a baggage allowance depends on the route you are flying. It is possible to purchase an allowance in 5kg increments, beginning at 15kg.

As with all low-cost airlines, it is always much cheaper to purchase a baggage allowance through Air Asia's website before you arrive at the airport. You can save up to 50% on the airport rate by buying ahead of time.

Excess/Oversize/Overweight Summary

Excess baggage above what you have purchased online is charged at a per kilo rate. Keep in mind that you can purchase additional baggage in 5kg increments online (up to a maximum of 30kg), at a much cheaper rate than what you will be charged at the airport. Make sure to plan ahead!
