Air Transat SCUBA Diving Equipment Policy

Air Transat will accept your SCUBA equipment as part of your regular checked baggage allowance, and you will not be charged extra for it, as long as you are within your regular checked baggage allowance.

SCUBA equipment consists of the following: 1 empty O2 tank, 1 tank harness, 1 pressure gauge, 1 mask, 1 regulator, 1 pair of fins, 1 wet or dry suit, 1 pair aqua shoes/booties, 1 buoyancy compensator, 1 snorkel

Cost: See checked baggage allowance for your fare type/destination

Excess Baggage Charges: Fees will apply if you exceed the maximum checked baggage allowance

Note: The O2 tank must be completely empty and the pressure gauge protected. Please ensure that equipment is properly wrapped/secured for transport to prevent loss or damage.

When flying on Air Transat to South destinationas, to Europe, or to the Middle East, you are permitted one free set of SCUBA equipment up to 20kg/44lbs in addition to your regular free baggage allowance, free of charge.
