Transavia accepts diving gear as either a separate piece of luggage, paying a special Diving Equipment fee of 42 EUR (up to a maximum of 15 kg), or by packing it together with your regular luggage and including it in your standard luggage allowance.

If paying the special diving equipment fee to bring your dive gear, it must be packed separately from the rest of your baggage. If your diving equipment weighs more than 15 kg, Transavia's standard luggage rules will apply. [AMZ asins='B00NIYJF6U,B001PB6R4Q,B009F1924K,B00ZHPLCS2']

Scuba tanks are only accepted if there is enough space on the aircraft. You can reserve your diving equipment ahead of time by adding it to your reservation when making your original booking on Transavia.com

SCUBA tanks must be empty in order to be accepted for transportation. Harpoons and Knives must be packed into a hard-sided container or suitcase. You are not allowed to bring nitrogen-powered spearguns.

Dive lights are accepted as long as the battery is removed and the bulb is removed, with the switch locked in the OFF position. LED Dive lights must be disassembled.
