Carry On Size & Weight - Checked Bag Fee

Hand Baggage – Jet Aircraft
Weight – 8 kg.
Size – in cm: 50 (length) 40 (width) 20 (depth), or in inches: 22 (length) 18 (width) 120 (depth) .
These dimensions include wheels, handles, side pockets etc.

Hand Baggage – ATR Aircraft
Weight – 5 kg.
Size – 50cm (length) 40cm (width) 20cm (depth).
Soft bags only. No trolley cases of any kind are permitted in the cabin of ATR aircraft.

Israir Hold Baggage – European Flights
The permitted weight is 20kg for each adult passenger. The size and number of cases is immaterial.
The permitted weight for infants’ baggage is 10kg.
Any excess weight will be charged extra (tariff available at check-in desks).

Israir Hold Baggage – Domestic Flights
The permitted weight is 15kg for each adult passenger.
Any excess weight will be charged extra (tariff available at check-in desks).

Wheelchairs
Every passenger can take a wheelchair for personal use.
The chair will be taken from the passenger next to the aircraft and placed in the hold.
At the destination, the passenger will receive the wheelchair at the aircraft door.
Passengers who use electric wheelchairs must ensure that the battery is a dry battery, and disconnect it and insulate its poles before handing over to ground staff.
Passengers who are not bringing a wheelchair but require assistance in reaching the aircraft can request this service at the check-in desks only. The service must be ordered in good time.

Musical instruments
Musical instruments that can be packed in a rigid case will be sent to the hold.
If the instrument cannot be sent to the hold, an extra seat must be purchased for it., assuming of course that it cannot be stored in the overhead baggage compartments and is suitable for placing on a seat.
The charge for carrying musical instruments is according to the usual tariff for excess weight, except where a seat is purchased for the instrument.

Child strollers
For takeoff, strollers will be stored next to the aircraft steps or sleeve.
It is important to ensure that any removable parts are taken into the cabin by the parent.
For landing – as a rule the crew will try to give the parent the stroller next to the aircraft or close to the gate, depending on the airport procedures.
Parents who hand over strollers before takeoff are asked to leave the aircraft last, to allow ground crew to unload the strollers and bring them to the aircraft.
